I love my newest charity shop find. The floral design is very in at the moment and the cat eye shaped frame was all over the SS13 catwalk shows. When it comes to sunglasses there are those who will spend a lot on a pair of shades and those who buy a cheap pair to cover them over the summer period I am the latter. These beauties cost me a mere 99p and they will be much loved and used in my upcoming holiday to Tunisia.

Floral Sunglasses - Charity shop - 99p
Patterned Scarf - Charity shop - £2.00

This season is all about the sunnies, so getting it right is a big must this season.

1. Be brave this summer and clash your radiant red hair with hot berry's and pinks, it's a myth that us Redhead's can't get away with pink. Check out Disney star Bella Thorne rocking the hot pink shades while out walking her dog!

2. Emerald green shades would look wicked against our rich red colour.

3. Brown shades are a safer option, however they don't have to be boring try a leopard print patterned pair.

4. Black sunnies will look striking against our red hair.

5. It is better to avoid white or cream sunglasses as they tend to wash out our features.
Don't be shy this summer try the new trends whether you suit the rayban, creepers or cat eye look.

The sun is finally shining and it is actually bearable outside! I can finally replace my woolly jumpers with dresses. As the weather was nice I thought I would try out my new customised mid length word print dress from Primark. One of my favourite fashion DIY blogs a pair & a spare did a how to cut out maxi dress tutorial so I thought I would have a go. In keeping with the popular monochrome look of the moment I bought this cheap midi length word print dress from Primark. I love the cut out look and it will be a great addition to my suitcase for my trip to Tunisia!

Word Print Dress - Primark - £10.00 (Customised by myself)
Faux Pearl Necklace - Primark - £2.00
Pearl Bracelet - Rosie Brown - Gifted. (This bracelet was a gift from my boyfriend and I love it... I know it's not that easy to see in the pictures but visit the website the designs are amazing Rosie Brown)
Blowfish Ankle Boots - Ebay- £39.00

I couldn't disagree more that Redhead's should stay away from the monochrome trend! Julianne Moore proves my point by looking stunning in Tom Ford at the Golden Globe Awards.

Top Tip - The black and white colouring tends to be uncomplimentary to the gold and yellowish tone of our skin, therefore it is important to wear blusher in order to help bring the glow back to your complexion. A pink lip as seen on Julianne Moore can also help to bring a bit of colour to your complexion.

Metallic Madness

This SS13 the shinier the better! One of the biggest trends to hit the runways is metallic madness. It is everywhere at the moment! You'll find handbags, shoes, clothes, jewelry and nail polish ranging from glitter, gold, metallic and foil look fabrics. This trend usually crops up in the colder seasons as the deeper metallic tones works well when layering a look. However designers such as Burberry and Jonathan Saunders have been hitting the runways with an array of shiny, bright in your face futuristic looks that scream look at me!

The thing that I love about this fashion trend is the instant glamour. The glitter, gold ,metallic, shiny and foil look fabrics are an excellent way to look glamorous and get noticed without putting in too much effort.

Black Disco Pants- Primark - £16.00
Metallic Look Crop Top - Primark-  £4.00
Earrings and Necklace - Primak - £1.00 & £2.00.
Metallic Look Heels - Garage Shoes - A Year or Two Ago - You can get a nice pair of metallic heels on Ebay here.

I love the new metallic, futuristic look that hit the SS13 catwalks as it is half the effort with glamorous results.
The look I achieved here didn't break the bank. The Primark disco pants have made a comeback of course as they are one of my favourite items to wear at the moment. The metallic crop top and jewelry also from Primark were quite a bargain all in all costing me £7.00.

Metallic madness is also a great look for us Redheads as the light that reflects off the metallic, shiny fabrics lights up our complexions giving us a healthy looking glow. Try not to overdo the makeup or accessories with this look a there is already a lot going on.
