Fashion seems to have jumped back to the 90's recently with the return of denim dungarees, ripped jeans, beanies and crop tops. This SS13 crop tops are everywhere, the catwalks saw a variety of crops in a variety of shapes and designs from Jonathan Saunders to Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton to Mui Mui's.
In light of this trend I decided to get out my sewing machine and have a crack myself. Considering two of the hot favourites this SS13 are crop tops and denim I thought why not combine the two.
This denim bow detailed crop top is an ideal holiday item. It is loosely fitting and can be matched as I have done here with a long black skirt and flip flops for a casual look or for an evening look try matching it with a pair of high-waisted disco pants and heels. The large denim bow adds quite a bit of detail to the outfit so I would suggest that it is worn with minimal jewellry as I have done here wearing only a few gold bangles.
I know that for a lot of Redhead's with pale skin wearing a crop top is exposing a lot of skin... however there are a huge range of crops out there to suit everyone from longer crops to bralet tops. Just remember to wear what you feel comfortable in.
Maybe I will have a go at a similar style to this denim crop top released by Rihanna for River Island as they are sold out right now!
