It's snowing...again! But that's not going to stop me making the most of my only day off this week! So I thought now was as good a time as any to start my 'Easy on the pocket' posts.
While scouring the charity shops/thrift shops Edinburgh has to offer I came across this gorgeous 60's style dress. It immediately brightened up my day bringing a ray of sunshine to the dark and grey outside!

Can Redheads wear pink? The question has been a source of much debate for years now as many would say bright colours such as pink and purple clash with their hair. The rule generally follows that paler pinks and coral pinks complement us Redheads better than hot pinks. However saying that Emma Stone rocked a Christopher Kane watermelon pink sheath dress on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and I think she looks stunning, but what do you think? Is she rocking this look, or is it too much?

Coral pink looks good on Redheads as it is a great mix of orange and pink which helps show off your best features. As the dress is a vibrant colour the tone of the shoe should be neutral which is why the black shoe and black tights work well with the coral pink. In order to break up the two blocks of solid colour I accessorised the dress with a black and gold belt and black and gold bracelets. The gold in the accessories works really well when combined with the orange accents of the dress.
