I am using my blog to showcase some of my own designs so please take a look and let me know what you think. I have made a few of my own pieces over the past few months and am going to be posting them up in intervals. 

I know it's officially summer and we should all be wearing the mega bright colour trend of the moment neon, but i still love the classic black and white monochrome trend. It is a classic that like the crop top refuses to leave and make way for a new piece. I love it though and when the weather isn't at its best (which in Edinburgh is quite a lot of the time) I like to bust out my black and white ensembles. 

This top was inspired by my love for the black and white monochrome trend and the peplum, which I feel was another epic trend to hit the runway then stores this year. The black and white colouring although simple is wonderfully elegant and dresses up any outfit whether it be a pair of black jeans, leggings or a skirt.The neck piece inspired by the peter pan collar fashion adds detail to the neck area so not much jewellery is needed with this outfit. The neck piece is also made out of white denim which also fits in with the denim craze of the moment. I chose to match this top with a simple pearl bracelet and earrings.
